Are they real golf balls?
No, and that's the point. Battle Golf balls are the same size as a real ball and feel real off the club, but we engineered them at 30% of the weight and wrapped them in velcro so they stick where they land. Full swings indoors, no broken windows, no dented walls. You get 12 in the box, three each in four colors, so four players can battle at once.
How easy is it to set up?
About five minutes from opening the box to first swing. Slot the poles together, stand the target up, roll out the turf, pick your color. No tools, no batteries, no app, nothing to charge. It packs down just as fast into the carry bag, so it's as easy to take to the park or grandma's as it is to set up in the living room.
Does it come with a club?
The club is sold separately, and it's the one we'd recommend even if it weren't ours. The Battle Golf Club extends to fit every player from a 4 year old up to Uncle Dave who's 6ft 7, so the whole family shares one club and nobody's swinging something too long or too short. The oversized face means first swings actually connect, which is the difference between a kid who's hooked and a kid who gives up. It's lighter than a real club too, so it's safe to swing indoors. If you already have a wedge or a junior club, that works fine. If you don't, add the Battle Golf Club to your order and the game's complete the second the box opens.
Can it be used indoors and outdoors?
Yes, both sizes work anywhere. The 4.5ft target is sized for living rooms, basements and playrooms, where you're standing closer and space is tight. The 6.5ft target is built for the backyard, where you can stand further back and hit fuller shots. Plenty of families get the big one and bring it inside for winter. Either way, the lightweight balls and hitting turf mean your floors, walls and windows are safe.
What size do I need?
Battle Golf is available in two sizes: 4.5ft and 6.5ft. If you're playing indoors or in smaller spaces, go for the 4.5ft. If you're looking for our flagship Battle Golf product and have a larger space or are playing outdoors, you'll want the XL (6.5ft).

I purchased this to use in my basement on days where outdoor play is limited due to rain or snow. It was easy to assemble and can be used as for practice by oneself or to “Battle” with friends and family!
I was most impressed with the balls that are included with this set. I am a low handicap golfer and was skeptical if they'd feel lightweight and cheap. They feel like real golf balls, but without the weight so i'm not worried about breaking anything. I definitely recommend taking the extra balls if they give you the option when checking out as we'll probably naturally lose a few when the kids are playing through Summer! 5 stars
